Sir John Hall's Visit.
Chkistchurch, this day.—Sir John Hall spent some time in town yesterday visiting his friends and looking about the place generally. He is likely to remain in New Zealand for some two months or more, and at present contemplates making the return journey by way of Singapore. .The inhabitants of Hororata (where his home is situated) are nnderatood to bo preparing to receive him in grand style. An address, carriages, and dinner, and- all the rest, of indispensable accompaniments of such a ceremoDy are talked of vigorously.
