Evening Star Office, this day.
Messrs E. and A. Isaacs held a sale yesterday of 12 eases jewel packets and bonbons ; also 2 cases of cigarettes. The attendance was good and bidding spirited. Every line submitted was quitted. Messrs Vaileand Douglas held a sale of valuable properties at their mart to-day. Tho attendance was large; and the bidding for the lots In-tho Bellwood Estate spirited, but the bids did not roach the reserve prices, and were consequently withdrawn. Several of them are nnder private treatment. One ot the allotments at To ICopuru was sold at 2s 6d per acre; and allotment 50, Mount Roski'J Road, brought £3 Mr G. W. Binney sold the whole of the bonded goods In the estate of Mr W. F. Hull. There was a, large attendance of the trade, the bidding spirited, and satisfactory prices realised. The whole of the auirita, wlnea, etc., wero sold. Mr Ilarideraons solo of household furniture and effects was well attended-and the results satisfactory.
