The annual meeting of Auckland Tattersail's Club was hold last evening, Mr A. B. Whitaker presiding. The balance-sheet submitted showed the funds in hand to be £51 5s 9d, and subscriptions due £42. This met the expenditure, and left £10 6s 9d to the good, after providing for liabilities. Mossrs John Kirkwood, M. Gallagher, and Col. Fraser were elected membersof the Committee, and Messrs Butler and O'Sullivan auditors. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr J. Smith, proprietor of the Occidental Hotel, for providing the Club with the commodious room at a small rent, and for his other kindnesses to the Club. A proposition for the alteration of a rule was postponod for a special meeting.
