A MYSTERY ELUCIDATED.

Napier, this day. About five months ago a man was Eeen to throw himself off Taradale1 Bridge, and the body was never discovered. Air the same time a person named Robert Thompson disappeared, and it was generally thought there was a connection between .the suicide andthedisappearance. Yesterday the body , of_*man partially submerged in sane, .was discovered at low tide on a mud-bank in the lagoon. Tho body had evidently been • in the water along time. From the state of decomposition it was impossible to rocog- : -nise him, but from his dress it is supposed to be Thompson.
