Welliniitom, this day. Tin: supposed wreck which tho Hinemoa has gone in search of, the Mario Angc, is an iron brig of 274 tons register, owned in Jersey. Sho passed her No. 3 Lloyds' survey at Swansea, in October last, at a cost of £1,800. Thence sho proceeded to Rio Do Janeiro with a cargo of coal, going on to Mauritius. From this point her misfortunes appear to havo set in, as shortly ufter leaving Port Louis she encountered a fearful cyclone, which swept away everything but the lower masts, v, hich were of iron. She returned to Port Louis and effected repairs, which cost £3,000, after which sho mado n tedious passage to Adelaide, where she discharged sugar, and loaded flour for Brisbane. Her passage to the latter port was ono of tho fostest over mado, being only 12 days. From Brisbane sho proceeded to Newcastle, whoro acargo of coal was taken in for Port Chalmers, and it was while nearing her destination that sheis supposed to have beon lost in Foveaux Strait, apportions of wreckage belonging to her havo been picked up.
