The following nominations took placo at noon to-day, the figures representing the show of hands for the respactivo pandidat/3. :— Heatiicote.—J. L. Coster, 80; Wynn Williams, 30; J, P. Fisher, 8. Hon. E, Richardson was returned unopposed for Kaiapoi, and E. Wakoiiold for Leeston. At Stanmo^e nnominations the show of hands resulted as follows :—D. Reeso, 50; J. M. Rnddonkkjn, 44; G. Bovney, 10; W. H. Pilliott, 11; J. Crowes, G ; O. Wnnsey, 6. Avon.—Leonard Harper, 55 ; V\. Dunlop, 37;' J. A. Williams, 4, Sydenham.—W. White, 41; J. R. Scott, 30; W- Fergusson, 4. A poll was demanded in each case. " Wallace.— Dr Hodgkinson, Messrs T. Daniel, H. Hurst, and Morgan Hayes, were nominated. ' Lyttelton.—H. Allwright, S. R. Webb, E. M. Clissold. Ashley.-.T. Pearson, 18 ;W, Duncan, 4. A poll was demanded in each case.
