A UCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD. T« OWNERS OF VESSELS AND PERSONS PLYING FOR' HIRE. Harbour Board Office, Auckland, Juty 12.1551. The following clauses of the By-laws of tho Auckland Harbour Board aro published for general information, viz.— 73. The owner of every vessel winch is used to ply foT hire, whether in the carriage of passengers, cargo, bajlast, water, or as a ferryboat, tug-boat, or any other purpose, shall obtain a license from the Board for such vessel, and no person shall aliow his vessel to ply for hire or be used for any of the purposes aforesaid - withont being so licensed. 71. No person shall ply tor biro within the harbour, nor use any vessel for the convojanco of passongers, cargo, ballast, water, or otherwise, nor act as master of a ferry-boat or tugboat, without being licensed by the Harbour Board. 83. All licenses shall be issued for such periods - only as shall expire on the 30th Juno in any year ; but those may be renewed year by year at the discretion of the Harbour Board. 85.
