AUCKLAND POULTRY, PIGEON, CANARY, AND RABBIT ASSOCIATION.

♦ Tim Auckland Poultry, Pigeon, Canary and Rabbit Association closed its three days' show on Saturday, evening. Tho success of the Show was vory marked and satisfactory in every sonso of tho word. The poultry generally was excollent; also tho exhibits of pigeons, rabbits, and birds of diirorcntspocies. Tho exhibits in various departments amounted to-120, and the prizes awarded to successful oxhibitora were exceedingly liberal, evidencing much public interest in tho objects of tho Asfoo.ation. Mr Pearson, tho lion. Secretary, lias worked well in the cause, and to him much credit is due for tho favourable results of tho exhibition. Tho chief pri?o winner was Mr John Walker, of the Auckland Market, who announces elsewhere tJiat his living winners are on view for a few days at his poultry stalls. Mr Walker took no less than 50 money prizes, also a silver cup for most points in rabbit., and several other prizes. Mrs E. Wood was successful in obtaining first-class prizes for Langshans and Cochins, fowls in which that lady takes much interest.
