Information in the meantime had been given to Detective Hughe*. Prisoner might have seen him take money out of the box on the Saturday. He wore the gold albert on tho Sunday in prisoner's presence. Accompanied prisoner and Mr Leonard to the Market yard. Prisoner got over the fence, and handed the property overtuMr Leonard, who handed it to the police.—The evidence of Mr Leonard, his son, and Detective Hughes was simply corroborative.—The depositions were then read over, and the prisoner was committed for trial.
