CANTERBURY.
Mr Wynn Williams, late M.H.R., for Heatlicote, addressed his old constituents for the second time last night, and had again a very unfavourable reception. A vote of confidence was proposed but a vote of [thanks only was carried by 50 to 10. Mr Crewes contests Chrigtchurch North with Sir Julius Vogel. He was received most enthusiastically.
