Gazette Notices. LAND TAKEN FOR A ROAD IN THE PARISH OF WAIWERA, PROVINCIAL DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND. (L.S.) WM. F. DR.UMMOND JERVOIS, GOVERNOR. A PROCLAMATION. Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 18S2,"for a certain work, to wit. the construction of a road in'the Parish of Waiwera, Pi ovineial District of Auckland : And whereas the Minister for Public Works has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Uovcrnor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by section eleven of "The Public Works Act, 1882,"and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim aud declare tkat tho land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the land so described shall become absolutely vested in fee-aimple in Her Majesty, discharged from al mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever, for use as a road. SCHEDULE. All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 3 roods 38 perches, being a road-line 100 links wide, traversing the north-western portion of Lot No. 101, commencing at a point on tlie western boundary of the said Lot No. 161 at a distance of 611 links from its north-western angle.
