Notices to Correspondents.
"An Elecctor " sends a further reply to Mr J. Muir Barr, but wc see no object in protracting the correspondence. The gist or the roply seems to bo in the following sentence:— "Doubtless, to .1 Muir Barr (whom I find by carefully looking over the electoral roll has no vote), the tax caused by the doorcase beforo mentioned would bo cf ho consequonce, as he is evidently a non-ratepayer." "A Woll-wisher to Art" returns to tho chargo, in reply to "Nemo," but each party to this controversy seems to have said ovirytbinj. that Is worth hearing;, and We have cortainly no space to spare for a mere personal altcrcatloh. to which this correspondence has now dwindled down..
