PROFESSOR PAYNE'S ENTERTAINMENT.
Propkssok Payne repeated his wonderful shooting performance at the Opera House last evening, and also gave a very clever representation of "The Bowildcrcd Countryman," in which sketch he introduced the cabinot trick. Tho applo was shot by the Professor from his brother's head at the first attempt, but such success did not attend his efforts to shoot an apple from his brother's fingers, and it was not till tho fourth shot had boon fired that the object was struck. The coin shot from his brothers fingers was found near the pit, very much broken. Applause followed each of Ids clever performances. A similar entertainment will be given this evening.
