SCOW RACE.
Akotkru race between tho scows Vixen and Result liaa been nrrangod, and will tako placo to-morrow if thorc bo sufficient wind. Tho stakes are £50 aside, and the course tho same as before, viz., from Queen-street Wharf, round Tiritiri, and back to tho point of starting. Tho Vixen was hauled up on Mr Bailey's slip this morning in order to have a new centreboard supplied. All that romains of tho centre-board used in the race is tlio portion which remains insido tho vessel when it is down, the wood, which was 3in. in thicknoss, and bolted strongly, having snapped closo oft' by the bottom of the vessel. This accounts for the poor show she mado against tho Result,
