Of'fpnsive Mattku.—William Parkos was charged with permitting;, offensive matter'to. overllow on his promises in Poneonby Road.— Defendant said ho had only just arrived from Knirland and only been in the house a short time—Mr Goldio, tho Inspector, said dofendantt's statement was correct.-Finrid Is arid costs —Thomas Hayward was charged under the Municipal Poljco Act with allowing skins to remain on his promises in Quoon-street,— Defendant ploaded guilty, and was fined 10s and and costs.
