Homes: Notwithstanding tho mi nbor of horses brought forward and disposed of on the provlous Monday, there was a largo number offered on Friday, and for tho moat part prices for good sorts maintained their values. Hides and .Skina: Brought forward in but small numbers, but prlcos for hides showed a slight advance of last week's quotations. We sold hides at from 2d to 23d; skins, from 2s 2d to 3s id; pelt*: from Id to 74(1. Cattle: Thoro was-a good number of store cattle and dairy stock offered on Tuesday last, but tho supply of beef was scarcely up to requirements, and many offered were not in first-class condition, whilo good fat oxen fully maintained their values. There was a slight falling off in price for thoso not sufficiently fatted. Dairy cows sold from £010s to £8; store steers, from £3 10s to £4 7s 6d. Sheep: There was a large numbor of Bhoop yarded on Tuesday, principally fat, and former prices were maintained. Shorn wothors sold from 15s to 17s 9d; wethers in wool, from 18s 6d to 20s 6d; lambs, from Ils3d to 18s. Pigs: Vory few yarded, and they sold at a considerable advance on late quotations.

Lambs were penned in large numbers, and sold at 9s 3d to 14s 9d.
