At tho Haymarkot on Friday last fodder wa-s in full supply, but rallied in price, and sold freely from 03 to fe 3d per cwt.: oats, at late values. 2s Sd ; maizo, 2s fld to i!s Id per bushel. The vonicles advertised sold freely at satisfactory prices, bringing from £30 to £67 each; secondhand buggy. £20; horse, but,'gy and harness, £3o; omnibus, f137. Horse stock were plentiful and sold freely. Tho entire, Clyde, brought 37 guineas: medium draught stock, from *11 to £28; and the heavy draught entira. Lord Dalhousic, £150. On Tuesday, foddor fully maintained the values of tho provious Friday. Hides and skins wore in full numbor. Hides barely maintained provious values, and ranged from ljd to 2jd per lb.; butchers' skins, 33 6d to is *d; station skins. Is 3d to 3s 9d each; lambskins, 7d; tallow, 27s to 28s por cwt.; bones, Is (sd; cross-bred wool, 5d 3-10ths por lb. At Papakura on Wednesday the usual muster of stock met with a steady demand at fully iato values. At Remuera. on Thursday the market was brisk throughout. Dairy and grown store cattle advanced 10s each, and fat cattle ranged from 25s to 28s tho lOOlbs. Store sheoywero also in bottor inquiry. Medium quality owes with lambs at side brought 18s and 19s 3d each; prime fat sheop, 31 the lb. Lamb 3 were abundant, and of very variable quality. Prioes ranged from 2s Bd to 20s, but tha greater nunibor from 9s to I4s each. Pigs numerous and in good demand, particularly medium weight fat pigs. Averages were: 8 steers, Ed. Allen, £8 Ua Od ; I head oxen. Robert Fishor, £9 6s; 1 cows, £6 ss; 7 oxon, Jas. Taylor, £10 16s; 21 steers, Waikato Land Association, £9 • Gisborne wothcrs, Jno. Allen, 17s Od; Waikato wethors, A. Horses: The movoment in tho market noted last week has continued. A good many ship- . borne were brought forward, and found purchasers at improved prioes as compared with previous rates. At the Durham Yards on Friday thero was a largo muster, and corresDondingattendanceof buyers, consequentlvcomiotition was spirited throughout the sale. Hacks sold at from £7 10s to £10 ss; medium draughts, from £18; hoavy draughts, from £27 os to £35. Wool, hides, and skins: Hidea were in limited numbor, and of inferior description, 2Jd being the maximum per lb. Skinß sold at from Is lOd to 3s 3d; tallow, 283 per cwt. Cattle: The supply has beon limited, nnd demand brisk, and consequently prices advanced, the exception porhaps being in stores, which 'only maintained the previous week's values. At Newmarket on Tuesday dairy and fat stock wore la Itss than usual numbers, and renuiremen_l^fe larger, consequently prices advanced—forcows, from 10s to £l per head, and 2s to 3s per 100 lbs for beof. 30s beins readily given for good quality. Store steers of all ages in fresh condition sold well, but prices for female stock were in favour of tho purchaser. Sheep were soarcoly yarded in average numbers, Prices wore a shade higher than the previous week Wethers sold at from 17s to 23s 9d; ewes, 15s 9d to 17s 6d; lamba, this season, Us Gd.
