Pitt-street. "Mullens-stroet, Balmain, Sydney, August 9, 1883.— To the Publishers "Sydney Morning Herald."-Dear Sirs,-I feel it incumbent on my part to inform you of tho great benefit I have received from the hso of bt. Jacobs Oil. Some three years ago I injured my left leg and knee to that extent I thought I had become a permanent cripple My kneo-cap was twico its natural size, and my leg was so contracted and shortenod that I could not walk without considerable pain and inconvenionco. During that time I hod tried romedics innumerable, but without receiving the slightest boncfituntil I gave St. Jacobs Oil a trial, and, much to my dolight and astonishment, I began to got better, and boforo the contents of the bottle were half used, both my leg and knee assumed their normal condition, and to-day I am entirely free from pain, and can walk as well as ever I did in my life. I heartily recommend St. Jacobs Oil to any ono suffering from pain, and feel satisfied it has no equal for tho cure of chronic and contracted limbs.—l remain, dear Sirs, yours faithfully, C. L. Cohen7."
HE ADVISES HIS PERSONAL FRIENDS. "Glon View. Darlinghurst, August «7, 1883.-Messrs Publishers ' Sydney Mail. -Dear Sirs,—lt gives me great pleasure to say in the most unqualified manner that I have found bu Jacobs Oil the best preparation for Rheumatism, Gout, and other pains, that I have used or known. A member of my family was suffering from a severe attack of rheumatic gout, both in tho hands and foot. The pain was most excruciating. I suggested her using St. Jacobs Oil, and am pleased to say the result was o£ a most satisfactory character. After one or two applications the pain entirely left, and up tp the present have had no return of tho trouble. I look on St. Jacobs Oil as a universal panacea for all kinds of aches and pains. I have advised many of. my personal friends to give it a trial, and nave heard from them that nothing they had ever used did them so much good. It is, without doubt, the only Household Remedy o£ modern times, and I shall always kcop a bottle ■within reach.—l remain, dear Sirs, yours faithfully, J. R. Drewett."
