Consols remain at 101 J, aud New Zealand securities at 5 per cent. The 10-40 loan to-day is quoted at 104J, an advanco of 30s. Tho 5 per cent. 1881) loan remains at 1004 ; the 4.J per cent. 1879-1904 loan has advanced by 30a to 102.^; and the 4 per cent inscribed stock is quoted at 10U, a declino Of 10s.
The catalogue at to-day's wool auction comprise 10,(100 bales, which were offered to a firm market for all, but low to inferior qualities which remain generally dull; No changes to report in colonial breadstuffs or tallow.
