Tha B.s. Waihora may be expected to arrive from Melbourne via the South about 10 a.m. tomorrow.
The schooner Atlantic left Rarotonga on August 31, and arrived here yesterday afternoon after.an uneventful passage.
The s.s. Argyle arrived from Whangarei on Saturday evening with 10 sacks gum, and one passenger, Mr Stewart.
Thebarque. Buttcrmerc, which left for Newcastle on Saturday morning, put back to Rangitoto Reef on Sunday owing to heavy weather outside. She roaumed her voyage today.
Tenetahi, master of the cutter Rangatira, arrived in town on Saturday evening. He has furnished us with a descriptive account of the wreck of his vossel at the Barrier, and tho drowning of two of the crew, which appears in another column.
