The s.s. lona arrived from Russell and Northern ports early to-day.
The brigantinc Matautu cleared at the Customs to-day for Apia (Samoa).
The s.s. Macgregor loft for Whangarei this afternoon in charge of Captain Amodeo.
The s.s. Southern Cross left Wellington on September 17th, Napier on tho 19th, Giaborne on the 20th. Called at Open Bay and Awanui, and arrived at tho Wharf at 5.30 a.m. to-day. Passengers : Miss Missctt, Mrs Martin, Messrs Martin, Stein, MeMastcr, Kneebone, Barlay, and two in the steerage.
The s.s. Glenelg arrived from Tauranga early this morning with the following passengera:— Misses Hicks, Wingate, and Hanley, Mrs Bugleaux, Messrs Lundon, Jloss, Hell, Hill, Pearman, Scott, andTolo.
The following steamers are duo here next week:—Rotorua (at Manukau) on Sunday, at 1 p.m.; Waihora, from llelbourno and the South, on Tuesday, at 10 a.m.; Omapcre, from Tauranga, Wednesday.
The schooner Elsinoro arrived from Rarotonga this morning after a passage of 35 days. The vessel was twice hove-to for over two days during hoavy weather. Tho passage altogether was a very stormy ono.
