COROMANDEL, this day. TnERE i« a groat improvement in the pros poets of several of the mines, and corresponding hojKss animate shareholders.
lona.—A fine-looking reef was struck last night in the cross-cut going south in the direction of the Union Beach ; splendid looking stono and loose colours of gold were obtained.
Tokatka Range.—An important discovery has been made by Wolls, who started last week on the big reef near tho blow. Ho crushed a ton of stuff, which gave an ounce and a half of gold. The reef is 40 feet wido. The Tokatea low level is going in to cut tho same reef. Groat interest attaches to Wells's find. Ho is going to take out 30 tons at onco. TIIK New Coiiby.—Reef, 44 feet wido in tho face, looks well.
Union Beach.—The cross-cut has drained tho winze sunk on Daniola's leader. A couple of days' work will cut it, when sometiling good may be expected.
