Attention is directed lo tho following extract from the Regulation for the erection and retention of all Verandahs:— "All Windows on Verandahs must be protected on top with Wire Netting resting on Iron Bars of sufficient strength in tho opinion of tho Duilding Surveyor, and not more than (12) twelvo Inches apart." All Verandahs already eroded which do not comply with tho By-law on the first day of October next will require to »c removed, and owners liablo to a ponalty of '5 for every day such Verandah remains unsecured.
