ARRIVAL OF THE AURIGA FROM LONDON.

The barque Auriga, a fine iron vessel of 618 tons net register, owned by Mr R. H. Penny, ot Shoreham, under command of Captain Stone, arrived in harbour lato this afternoon. Tho Auriga has made several voyages to Southern ports, but the present is her tat visit here. Captain Stone is also a stranger to the port. Felt a severe bhock of eartuqnake on ths 23th in latitude 1" 2V N., lODgltude 27° 50" West. Had moderately ?O3d B.:f. ■ crades np to Trinidad, and from thenoe to Cane very light variable winds and fair wcithor. Passed tee .jape in latitude U' on March i. Had favourable windj after u&sslng the Cape, as far as Kergnelln Island. Passed about 1 degree south of Ken* uullu Island, From Moroh 20'h to 22nd experienced very heivy -winds and unsettled weitber. On toe later date, from a a.m. to soon, it blow a perfeot horrloane. From thence to 156° east and 46' south, westerly winds, and from thence to North Capo tolerably favourable winds but very much rain from South ond of New Zealand to North end. Easterly winds and fine weather from North Cape to Auckland, arriving as above.
