This Afternoon.
The bazaar was opened again at noon to-day, nnd was fairly patronised during the afternoou. All tho stalls have still a large variety of goods of every description for sale. Amongst the articles remaining in the Pastor aud Young Men's stall are a beautiful npplique mantel drape,, worked by Miss Cosbie, handsome inlaid table, composed of different New Zealand woods, which was forwarded Lorn Dunediaj polißhod stand of corals, crewel work, -lady's chair, presented by Mrs Denn.s, model yacht on the deep and narrow principle, presented by Mr Fred. Jones ; model r^'iftry grate, given by Mr -S. Brown; a set of croquet materials ' from- Mr Bamford, three musicalboxes, ferns presented by Mr Craig, and a beautife-1 Chinese ivory carving. Amongst tho principal articles at Grriton stall aro a musical box, two pretty whatnots, _wor*e table, and some good water-colour pictures by Mr Albyn Martin. There is also a varioty ol interesting books by Standard anihors, which "are being sOld* at very reasonable prices. At " the Sunday-school stall, wo observed a splendid representation of bride and bridegroom in wax, crewel-work fender-stool by Mrs Bell, beautiful bannerette, and a variety of ladies'straw hate suitable for the holiday season. At the City stall, there is a Wheeler and Wilson sewing machine,. Island canoe, with, ootals in gl bj; cose, given by Captaia Loverock, crewel-work gipsy table presented by Miss Crosbic, and a varie*yof usof at paper, hangings. There are also a wax brido donated by Mra Ford, aod several prbtty occasional tables. At tbe flower stand, there is a variety of fuchsias, camellias, and ferns, • and adjointDg are coops of pouliry of various lends Engageei couples should make a note of the fact that tbere are no less than three wedding cakes at the Ponsonby stall, tho best of which was presented by Mr Trewhetla, of Hamilton, .here is also a pretty occasional table, with oil painted centre, given byMtW. J. Wild, music stands, a variety of tables, "Domestic" sewing machine in good order, two hives of bees, a pair of spring cart wheels, given by Messrs Cousins and AtKiD, and a valuable gentleman s silk dressing-gown, presented by M. Knlgbt, which would form an excellent Christmas present for some one. In addition to these, each stall is well stocked with usciul and ornamental goods of aU descriptions, and shopping may be done at the baaaar profitably.
