Fire at Foxton.-Damages, £2000.

(BY TELEGRAPH.— PRPSS ASSOCIATION.) FOXTON, Tuesday. A serious lire broke out hero at eno o'clock this morning, when Mr T. K. Williams'a store was burned to the ground, and all the stock destroyed. The stock was estimated at ovor £2090. Tbo building was a very old one, and was insured for £250 The origin of thu fire is a complete my6tery. Genrge Williams, the proprietor's brother, sleeps on tha premises, and when he retired at eleven o'clock last sight, everything was safe. The fire was no sooner obaerved than the whole buiiding was a ma<i of flames, preventing anyone approaching it. Only a few pounds of tobacco were taved. The Primitive Methodist Church on the north side, and the old Custom Houas on the south side, were saved with difficulty, there being fortunately no wind at the time.
