MORE ROSStAN ATROCITIES ON JEWS.—MUTIL.VTION, OUTRAGE, AND TORTUKK. LONDON, August 26, 5 p.m. Tenible outrages continue to be com : mitted on the Kussian Jews resident in Poland. The population everywhere treat them in the most barbarous manner, and the details aro horrifying, The Russian officials are entirely apathetic, and the most terrible deeds are done with absolute impunity. No effort whatever is maio to protect tho victims, or to punish these robbers and murderers. Men, women, and children, aro mutilated, murdered, outraged, tortured, and their property taken, and their houses burned, directly within tho' cognisance of both the military and civil authorities, who seem to tacitly approve of the dreadful deeds. THE LONDON WOOL SALES. At the wool sale to-day, 40,000 bales wore catalogued. 5,000 tales were withdrawn. Good wools remain at opening prioee. Inferior scoured clothing and low crossbreds show a decline of s halfpenny to a penny per lb.
