THE MOKAU LANDS COURT.
Tlie Land Passed Through.

, WAITARA, this day. THE Mokau block has passed through the Xands Court, and the judges leave for Auckland to-day. The Court complimented the Maniapoto tribe on their oi derly conduct as being equal to any European Court. The Mokau may now be considered open under the Queen's rule.

NEW PLYMOUTH, this day.
Tho Native Land Court have given their final judgment re the Mokau land, which is in favour of the resident section of the Ngatimaniapotos. The Judge said that Rewi only had an inferior intereat in the land as a chief of the tribe assisting in the conquest, but this by no means enabled him to dispose of the land without the consent of the resident possessors, much less In opposition to their wishes.
