T. AND H. COOK'S NEW WAREHOUSE.

Tenders havo just boon received _ tr tbo erection of a iiue block of buildings at tho corner of Victoria and Elliott-streets, to the order of Messrs T, and H. Cook. Tho buildings will have a frontage of 25 feet to Victoria-street, and 58 feet to Klliott-strect. The warehouie proporty will occupy the full frontage to Victoria-street, and extend back a depth of 72 feet. It will consist of a basement and two stories after the level of the roadway. The front of this portiou of the establishment will be very elegant, the lower or shop floor having two large plate glass windows with return!. In the upper story there will bo three segment headed windows on moulded architraves and strong courses, These windows will be further adornid with ornamented panels benoath. On the top of the building thero will be ornamonted cornices.parapet, aud balustrade to harmoniae with the architecture of the adjoining building (Messrs Fowler's). The upper floor is to be Ufcd as a show room, and will be well lighted with windows both front and back. The throe floors of the Elliott-street portion will' be utilised aa workshops, each flat being connected with the shop by means of covered gangways. The Elliott-stroet front will bo carried out iv brickwork, the windows being coupled and adorned with white brick, while the top will be finished with a parapet. This commbdious establishment will be roofed with iron. Wc must not forget to mention that tho Victoriastreet frontngc will be finished in Portland cement. The building, which is to be commenced immediately, will be quite an ornament to Victoria and Elliott-streets.
