The Union-street "Wesleyan Church holds its anniversary services to-morrow. Sermons will be preached in the morning; by Rev, S. W, Baker; evening by Rev. W. Morley. Bead an inquiry into the financial condition of the Bank of New Zealand, to be had of all booksellers. Prloe, One Shilling.—(Advt). The anniversary services of the Primitive Methodißt Church. Franklin Road, will be held to morrow. Special sermons will be preaohed— morning, at 11, by Rev. Thomas Hodgson; afternoon, by Rev. Wm, Morley; and in the evening, by Rev. Samuel Kdger. The annual soitea will be held on Tuesday evening, the 13th met, when tea will be provided at 6 30, publio meeting at 7.30. Speakers: Revs. Joseph Loo?, H. H. Pewsbury, Thomas Hodgson, and James Guy. The addresses will be interspersed with hymns and anthems by the choir. Mr Horace Dean and his band of Ethiooian Minstrels will hold two carnivals in the Choral Hall-one on the evening of tho 26th December, and the other on the 2nd January. The Boxing Night carnival, followed by a ball, will ba given for tbe benefit of the Sick and Library Fund of the Auckland Fire Brigade; the January carnival will be in aid Of tho funds of Mo. 3 Company of Volunteers, after which there will be a fancy dresi ball Frizes will be given for the best poem and best conundrum on the Auckland Fire Brigade.
