THE ROYAL PRINCES,

ADELAIDE, Monday.

The P. & O. Company's steamship Cathay arrived here yesterday from King George's Sound. The Princes Albert Victor and George of Wales, who were passengers, were most enthusiastically received on arrival in town. They are guests of His Excellency Sir Wm, Jervoisat Government House, and will probably remain here a week and then proceed to Melbourne.

The Hon, G. Berry made a speech last evening, in which he referred to the present position of the Reform question. He spoke in somewhat guarded terms, but stated that the Government would not accept the Council's amendments to the Bill. He further stated that he did not deem a dissolution of Parliament was necessary in the present crisis.
