A serious riot took place at Brookborough, County Fermagh, Ireland, owing to tho land meeting held there bring prohibited by the authorities. Ihe Riot Act was read. Large bodies of the police and dragoons were called out, when the rioters were dispersed.

The principal decline has been in cross-breds. There is moderate competition on French account.
The trade in the manufacturing districts is unchanged.
WHEAT MARKET.
The wheat market ia unchanged. Adelaide is worth 51a, Victoria 51s, and NeVr Zealand, 47s per 4961b5.
TALLOW MARKET.
The tallow market is quiet. Best mutton is worth £35 10s; best beef, £32 10a per ton. .-.a
