THE CIRCUS.

W. W. Cole's great combination of circus menagerie and congress of living wonders is expected to arrive to-morrow, sometime during the day, per the P.M. a.s. City of Sydney. From all that can be learned this mammoth enterprise promises to be the largest and best exhibition that ever attempted a tour of the world, and we predict no little interest in the disembarkment at Auckland. It will bn something of v novel sight to s-oe the huge elephants open their trunks and pass them to the custom officials for inspection ; it will also be interesting to ses the trick mule kicking both ways at once; and the graceful antics of the drove ot camels will present ;u> amusing sight as they waltze over the gang-way; but this ii not all, there will be. many cages of wjld animals from every known clime, curious and massive vans, cars aud vehicles, beautiful thoroughbred stallions, and marvels without number. Mr Cole has long enjoyed the reputation of having the best show in America, and he now proposes to sustiin that reputation iv thuae Colonies.
