The Volunteer Force of Auckland wIU hold themselves in readiness to assemble at any moment to form a Guard of Honour, and to participate in the PUBLIC RECEPTION of His Kxcellenoy the Governor, Sir Arthur Gordon. Officers commanding corps are requested to use every diligence to have a Full Muster pi their Companies, who must appear in the KullDrois Uniforms of their corps, and with Arms and Accoutrements. The Bands of the various corpa will assemble with their Companies. Artillery Volunteers (Battery A) will be prepared to fire Salute (to ba hereafter arranged). llis Kxcellenoy is expected to arrive in Auckland on or about the 19th instant. B. WITHERS, Maior. Improving the Road from Mr Bradney's and Mrs Tizard's to Mr Hawkins', and thence to the district boundary on the Lake Road, North Shore. 5. Improving the Road from Bridge at Lucas Creek to angle ot road at school.
