Sik,— Yesterday a gentleman from t|io i "Herald" called upon me directly your 5 papor was published, asking me to give h\m ; my address for insertion in the "Herald, i refused, of course, after the treatment i | received; but after a good deal of explanation and persuasion, i told him he mignt put it in. For him, personally, I have the ■$ highest esteem and respect, as he is al*B** very gentlemanly and courteous; so tnai you" see the boot is on the other leg. 1W" gratified to the " Herald " for not inserting, . and agaiu reiterate my letter was truth.—
