Kifle Camp, Nelson, Friday. Seventh Match,—For Riffle Volunteers only, Kanges, 200, 400, 500 and 600 yorch ; seven shots at each distance. "Weapons - Snider rifle, Government pattern. Attendance at inspection parades ordered by the olricer commanding the district during the volunteer year to count towards total points —nine to be the maximum, but no poiuts given for attendance to count in the aggregate for the belt or in Match No. 13 (North v. South). Volunteers must'produce certificates of elliciency for the Volunteer year rmling March 31, 1879, from the officer <iunuanding their corps, which must be given to the register keeper at the commencement of the match. These are the regulations to which the competitors have to couform. The amount of the prize money is £85-viz.: one of £12, one]of £10, one of £9, one of £8, one of £6, one of £5> three of £i. three of £3, two of £2, and ten of £1— twenty-four in all. The seventh match U the fast in the contest for the Rifle Championship, and the shooting at the three of four ranges has been completed, caving ODly seven shots more per man to be fired. The conditions respecting points for attendance at parades, &c, are piecisoly the same as those in the 7th match. The poiuta given for attendance count neither in the aggregate for the belt nor in the 14th match (North, v. South).
