Sho' jjag been built to the order of Captain McGregor's Steamboat Company, and will run bet7,ween TanranKa. Mercury Bay, and Tairus connecting with the Glenelg at the former ' j O rt for Auckland. She is a wooden vessel, buf jt o j the usual materials, and will register ul> out forty tons. The ceremony of christening ■ tne yes-el •was performed by Mias M. Nlccol, the name given her being the "Fingal." xhe little steamer is now lying alongside Jy lessrs Fraser and Tinne's yard, Mechanics' Bp y> where she will receive her machinery, w} j^ j^g DCon manufactured by that firm.
