THEATRE ROYAL.

I/AST evening Torn Taylor's world-known play, "JJavid Garrick," was produced. The principal parts, " David Garnck " and " -Ada Ingot," were taken by Mr and Mrs Lingard. As, the representative of David Garrick Mr Lingard was fair, but was, we tbinlc,: rather careless in his acting. Mrs Lingard, as Ada,, was good. The other parts | were not so well sustained as we should have expected from the Company. Mr Leopold, as Squire Ingot, was very tame, while the "tippling cousin" found a very poor representative in Mr C. Warner, whose feint of drunkenness was only too patent, and could be easily discovered as being a very shaky representative 'of an " after dinner ", gentleman. " 1 Ladroni" concluded the performance. This evening "Pink IJomino'es" will be produced, and from its success in London, where it was played for 400 nights, Birmingham, and other large towns in England, will form an enjoyable feature in the entertainment. The performance concludes with a grand burlesque called "Pluto." " ,_
