LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Tuesday. Colonel Brett moved, tho report of the Petitions Committee, that Mr Jackson has done nothing justifying his removal from tho public service. An hour and a half's dobato ensued, the majority saying that te pass the motion would be subversive of discipline in tho public service. Ultimately tho discussion was adjourned till next day. Tho other business was formal.
