At Remuera. oi Thursday, store catt'o were in brisk demand at fu'l values, and inferior fatted cattle were also bought by tho grazier, occasioning a slight rise in well fatted cattle, which were in steady demand at piiccs va'ying betweon 2S. and 3ls tho lt'Olbs. Fat sheep were in limited number and also better worth; shorn sheep brought 21 iho lb. Lambs in usual number, and good i tqiiiry; they were of uniform ouality, and brought between 10. and l'.s oacb. Horses.—The supply h?s continued largo, nnd a great many have changed hand*. At the Durham yards, on Friday, an unusualy large muster were submitted by auction. There was an improved demand for good hat-ks, and olher descriptions maintained last week's value?. We quote—Hacks, from £01t)s to £11; light-harness horses, from £15 51 to £25 10s; draught horses, £12.

Cattle.—There ha 3 been unusual activity in tho market, and a very largo number have changed hands. At Nowmirket, on Tuesday, stores were yarded in largo numbers, and found ready purchasers at folly last week's rate?. Few dairy cows offered, nnd of Indifferent description. Fat beasts were in fair supply and steady demand, ot from 2S? to 3'2s per lOOlbs. At Pnpakura, on Wednesday, the yards wore completely crammed, and about SOO bf asts changed hands at fully Newmarket rates. There was no noteworthy alteration in last weeks quotations. Sheep.—A largo number havo been brought forward. Tho demand was steady, and fors .mo pens a slight advance was given. Fat wethers sold at from Pis Gd to lfi.: owes, lis to lis. Lsmbs were plentiful at from 7s to 4i 9d, Figs were in short supply, but without alteration iv value.
