Under the distinsjuiehed patronago of his Mujesty the King of Italy, nt Itonic, according to communication received from from the Con-sul-General for Italy, at MclboU'lie, upon instructions from tho Minister for Foreign Ail'airs, dated 11th March, 1873. Dr Cruiekshank, Health Officer for tho City of Sandhurst, certifies to the extract being tho mest roliablo remedy for external inflammation, bronchitis, diphtheria, affections of tho lungs, chest, all pains of rhemr.a'ic nature, neuralgia, ' Sec; all swellings, bmises, sprains, wounds, disorder of tho bowels, diarrhoaa, &c. Epitome of declaration made before M. Cohen, Esq., J.P., at Sandhurst. October, 1877: —The son of Mr Raabo was hurt with an axe on the knee. After nine weeks' medical treatment it was declared necessary by Dr Macgillvray to amputate the Injured limb. At that juncture tho extract whs applied, and the wound speedily cured without amputation. Tho daughter of Mr. Juighonn, suffering from disease of the bone, as pronounced by Div. The extract is proved to bo curative in disorder of tho urinary organ,. It is tho surest curative agent and preventative of contagion in scarlet, typhoid and intermittent foyer.
