NARROW ESCAPE,

A HORSE, harnessed to a spring cart, di'iven by a man iv the employ of Mr P. M. Knight, took fright at lialf-past three o'clock this afternoon and bolted, the driver being thrown out of tho vehicle, but not seriously injured. Constable Strathem secured the horse. The vehicle was completely smashed.
