ADELAIDE, Thursday. The steamer John Elder, Orient Line, has arrived from London. She brings little news, except that the Left Party iv tho Chamber of Deputies had resolved upon the impeachment of the Brosrlie-Fourton Ministry before Marshal MacMalion resigned. TRANSVAAL DEMANDS INDEPENDENCE. . ; All the Cape news has been anticipated,' except that the Transvaal people demand independence.
