Terms of t3io Compromise.
The Strike Settled-
SYDNEY, this day.
The strike has been settled through Mr Lockhead.
The terms which have been arranged that all the men who have been on strike will, as far as may be practicable, return to the positions which they formerly occupied.
The Company will retain in their service one hundred and eighty Chinese, this number to be reduced to one hundred and twenty within three months.
The wages due to the seamen on the 18th of November will be paid by the Company. Ship's discharges will be given where necessary.
Sailed, last evening—City of New York for Auckland.
