The strongest recoramendnon for this mcd cine is its ownintrinsic wortba? shewn by the marvellous cures effected on well-known and much respected members of our community. The best proof of this is to be found in the large number of testimonials received by the maker thankfully acknowledging the restoration of health experienced by using this panacea. At the request of those (already cured, the proprietor now brings the "Blood Restorer" more prominently before-the Public, in the sure and certain hope that this utilising of the gifts of a merciful Providence will prove a great blessing to suffering humanity, by curing lqnggeated diseases and averting threatening sieknoßS. The want of a reliable remedy for Rheumatism, &c., has Ions: been felt as one of the greatest calamities of the age. While other means and medicine have been proving themselves vain and delusive this remedy has been silently and steadily unloosing the cruel fingers of disease; and freeing captive man from that deadly embrace. The people are now requested to give the Blood Restorers fair and impartial trial. And 'Jbs Praprietor would have it distinctly understood that the cures of Rheumatism, &c. are due entirely to the medicine's wonderful effect upon the blood, by its cleansing, puriying, and invigorating system. Impurity and inactivity of the Wood is tne cause of mo3t sickness and pains. After a course of this medicine, blood vessels—which have become, as it were, choked up with unhealthy matter—become exhilirant with pure scarlet life-blood, flowing naturally along, and imparting in its course vigour and strength to the enire syEtem. N.B,— Country Settlers will find in Hitchen s Blood Restorer an almost complete substitute for the Doctor. It arrests Colds, allays Fevers, and builds up the system. Children take it with wonderful results. No household should be without it. ANOTHER MIRACULOUS CURE. The following is striking evidence of the wonderful effects of the Blood Restorer, after all other means have failed to cure:— Bokeby-street, Auckland, Ist December, 1877. Mr.HITCHENS,— Dear Sir,—l have to thank yon very much for the benefit I have received through using your valuable Blood Restorer, and as a warning and guidance to others, would make known the particulars of my illness and cure. Some months ago I was taken ill with pains in the back, supposed to be lumbago. So far from being benefltted by the attendance of medical men, I grew rapidly worse, and the pain became agonising. One day my husband had in his hand a portion of an old Auckland Evening Star, containing your professional announcement of the medicine and its cures. The paper was of a back date, and the advertised agent's address, a Chemist in Wellesley-street. My husband applied to him for Hitchens' Blood Restorer, but the Chemist used such illnatored remarks to dissuade us from testing the virtue of the medicine, that we felt there was some spite at work, and determined more than ever to give it a trial. The pleasing result of the trial was, that after taking it a week, I felt wonderful relief; before many bottles were taken, I was not only liberated from a sick room, but felt in perfect health; appetite was restored, strength regained, and I have to fh«mk God that you were at hand to provide t>* nns of my rapid cure, and enable me ■>-•■■-• more to attend to my household duties. Youre very gratefully, Mrs. Waltek Knox. To Mr. Hitchens, Upper Wakefield-strset TMPERIAL SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS. De. Hassaix's Repoet. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, si, Holborn Viaduct, E.G.. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Sch napps, received from Mr. H. J. Habtv We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr. Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) Aethtjr H. Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, 23rd July, 1877. Henri J. Hart, Esq. Sir,—l have the honour to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample Of Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other iniuridus impurity, and has evidently been! distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of" the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compares favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes, ,',;'; :■-.'-> - I have the honour to be, &c, • 1 (Signed) . Wm. Johnson, Analytical Chemist to.the Government of Victoria.
