If there are any married men who wish their wives to live a long while, and I believe there are some who do, let them prove it by treating their wives to one of these Shawls this cold weather. Now lam not going to :say that there iB one bad woman in Auckland, but .still I will say that some are a great deal better than others ; for instance I believe some ladies come and get their bargains of me as usual, and hug them a!l to themselves, not saying a word to their friends about the wonderful bargains they have bought, whilst the good ladies show what they have bought of me, and tell the price they have paid, and so do good to those they know, including myself. I nave a few Hawking Baskets cheap for those who are thinking of going into business. There is one advantage the ladies will gain by reading this advertisement over again, and that is they will be able to write down what they wish to remember.
