Casey and Son, together with their good-will, plant, &c, and also the new iron paddle-steamer Tongariro, and the favourite screw-steamer Durham, from the Auckland and North Shore Ferry Company, who take £2,500 in the Stock of this Company. These steamers commenced the service on the Ist of August, so that immediate returns are assured. A large proportion of the Capital has already been subscribe d by influential residents in Kaipara and Northern Wairoa districts, and the whole of an extensive and profitable business now awaits the Company. The rapid progress that the Kaipara and Wairoa Districts have made during the last few years, and the increasing demand for more extended facilities of transit both for passengers and cargo, afford the best guarantee for the success of this undertaking. N.B.—Persons who have applied for shares in terms of the original prospectus will be deemed to have applied under this prospectus, unless notice in writing be given the undersigned before the 17th instant.
