THEATRE ROYAL.
"Louis the Eleventh" was produced at the theatre last night with Mr Dillon in the title role, The part did not Bult him so well es Belphegor or De Lagardere, but he worked hard to Vmako it a success*. Had there been a larsrer audience the piece would, no doubt, have gone better: as it was, the performers seemed depressed and their acting lacked spirit. Miss Pendor's Dauphin, Mr Steele's De Nemours, Mr Musgrave's Francoiae de Paul, and Miss Morgan's Marcel merit favourable mention. To-nightthenewmegdrama^ is to be played for the first time, and will, no doubt, attract a bumper house. The cast includes Mr Dillon and Miss Fender, also Mrs Walter Hill, Miss Lizzie Morgan, and Messrs Steele, Burford, Musgrave, Emmett, and O'Brien. The soenery to which we referred yesterday is both novel and artistic.
