UNION BEACH GOLD MINING COMPANY.

The annual meeting of the Union Beach Gold Mining Company was held, to-day. The chair was occupied by Captain W. C. Daldy. About twenty shareholders were present. The directors' report shewed that during the year 619 tons of quartz have been crushed, for 2,SS3ozg. go-Id, -which realised £8,659 3s 4d, a considerable portion of which has been expended on dead work iv opening up the mine. A balance of £3,047 9s 6d has been carried forward, out of which a dividend of 2s 6d per &_ave, equal to £9GB 15s, has been. paid._ This item, however, does not appear in the balance sheet. The directors recommend the usual honorarium of £250 for their services. The retiring directors, Messrs F. Wooilams and J. Howard, being eligible, offer themselves for re-eloctiou. The mine manager's report, and the balance sheet were olt>o lead, and adopted. The retiring directors—Messrs Woollams and Howad—were re-elected. Mr Way mouth was re-elected auditor.
