HELENSVILLE, this day. At an inquest held on the bodies of the tw» Daltons, a verdict of "Accidental death" was returned. While the funeral was proceeding Hawkins' body was found opposite Mount Wesley.

THE REGATTA

The Regatta was a grand success in the pulling races. The half-castes carried away everything.

Wcymouth's Foam completely distanced all other sailing boats. Upwards of 1000 people were present, including visitors from Auckland, Wangarei, and Southern districts. The utmost order prevailed, no accidents occurring to mar tho proceedings.
